The Breaking Bread Village creates spaces, connections, and communities - one conversation at a time. We invite guests to "The Table" and welcome everyone to come as they are.
We are rooted in the humanities and cultivate growth through Live Shows, Serving Hope & Breaking Bread, and Speaking & Facilitating Experiences.

Perhaps what The Breaking Bread Village is most known for! Live shows host a group of guests at "the table" to dive into meaningful conversations on challenging topics and share their perspectives, helping us transform as individuals and as a community.

Serving Hope and Breaking Bread is another way we connect to the community on a smaller scale than Live Shows. We spread cheer, education, conversation, connection, support, and light refreshment.

Erin Patrice is the heart behind The Breaking Bread Village. Erin has years of life experience training, teaching, and facilitating conversations through empathy, strategy, and storytelling. Bring Erin to speak to your group on a specific topic or as a keynote speaker.
Are there conversations that need to happen in your community, but you’re unsure where to start? That’s where we come in! The Breaking Bread Village specializes in facilitating open, honest, and impactful discussions on the topics that matter most.
We gather guests invited to the table, including facilitator Erin Patrice, from your community or surrounding areas to bring differing voices and perspectives to the table for a "panel like" conversation.
We share food from local vendors and start a conversation on a topic important to your business, organization, or community.

By supporting TBBV, you are investing in a mission that builds stronger, more connected communities, empowers individuals to share their voices, and inspires meaningful change. Your support creates a ripple effect of positivity and understanding in the world.
Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Each flower represents hope, impact, and YOU. Let's fill this pot together and watch something beautiful grow!
Supporter Levels:

As we know- recent changes at both the federal and state levels have impacted how nonprofits receive funding- including who qualifies and how grants are awarded. These shifts have made it more challenging for organizations like ours to access the support we’ve relied on to serve the community. That’s why we’re turning to the very people we’ve been walking alongside- you. Your support is needed more than before. With your help, we can continue doing the heart work, creating safe spaces for conversation, and planting seeds of empathy and understanding where they’re needed most.

"Being on the panel of societal expectations was outstanding. It really allowed me to reflect internally on the questions Erin asked along with how we each responded. It is an amazing thing when individuals from all backgrounds, can come together to share a table to talk about topics such as we did.
This work is important because we each have different experiences and stories but we all have had something that has helped empower us to get to where we are today. When we open up this conversation and have a dialogue, we have the opportunity to connect to one another."

"The topic - Honesty and Transparency - is very broad, but I think we were able to successfully approach it from a variety of perspectives. I enjoyed listening to the other participants interpret those two concepts and share personal insight on being honest with oneself, being transparent with one's motives and living honestly in public and with family.
I felt like I was challenged as a speaker - in a good way - and as a participant. There were a lot of people on the panel, so I wasn't always able to engage on every question, but I didn't leave feeling like didn't have an ample opportunity to voice my thoughts.
I also appreciated the diversity of the panel - many different life experiences and ages were present. I would participate in another discussion or encourage friends to participate. I think Breaking Bread is having a real and positive impact on the Midland community."
